His passion for makeup and his business sense of recognising a niche in the field of “specialty makeup”, led founder Peter Sng to start Cosmoprof in 1986.

At its inception, Cosmoprof specialised in providing professional makeup services to the local entertainment industry. Today, the company has diversified to offer training courses in makeup and beauty therapy and it also launched its own Cosmoprof makeup line. Education and training remains core to the company’s philosophy and commitment to this day.

Cosmoprof was selected to provide makeup services for the international finalists of the Miss Universe Pageant held in Singapore in 1987. It has won many national and industry awards such as the Arts Supporter Award from 2001 to 2007 and the Golden Brand Award for two years in 2005 and 2006.
